PALM SPRINGS ADVENTURE - April 6-8, 2010

We spent 3 fun-filled, action-packed days in the Palm Springs area. The weather was perfect. After a morning of travel, we arrived at the tram that took us up to 8,500 feet for a fabulous view of the area. No wind, very mild, and snow all around us. We were delighted with our hotel accommodations in this wonderful setting. Day 2 was exciting. Our step-on guide Ken gave us 2 hours of information about the wind turbines. Definitely information overload! That evening, we went to the famous Palm Springs Follies. Mary Wilson of the Supremes was the headliner. The cast was amazing. The Master of Ceremonies kept us in stitches; the ventriloquist was hysterical. A Great Show! A good portion of Day 3 was spent in the Joshua Tree National Park. Many of us pooped out after the 1 mile hike through some rough terrain. We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
